Warangal: The ruling Telangana Rashtra
Samithi Party is leading by 96,000 votes after fourth round of counting of
votes in Warangal Lok Sabha by-election on Tuesday.
The Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party-TDP combine are trailing behind in the second and third positions.
The TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar
said the people are still with the TRS and believe in the capacity of
the
Government to deliver. The Opposition failed to win over the faith of the
people as they spread false propaganda.
The BJP candidate P. Devaiah accused the ruling party of distributing money and threatening people of withdrawing welfare schemes being offered to each voter.
Congress leaders were not seen at the counting centres. The counting was likely to go on till 2 p.m.
