TRS MP Kavita tests positive for Swine flu

Hyderabad, January 09, 2015 : Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter Nizamabad MP Kalavakuntla Kavitha was tested positive for Swine Flu.  According to the sources, MP was admitted to a corporate hospital here on Tuesday after she complained of cold and fever.  During the treatment she show the symptoms of the disease which led the doctors to make some tests for the



flu.

A day before she was admitted, sources said the MP had been travelling to Nizamabad, her constituency and attending various events, including Swachh Bharat programme organized on January 5. 

"Yes, she is taking preventive Tamiflu drugs," said a health department official on condition of anonymity. Inside sources tell us that Kavitha's condition is stable but her name was missing from confirmed H1N1 case list of Institute of Preventive Medicines on Thursday.
