Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Smithi MPs staged a protest in front of Gandhi statue in Parliament on Wednesday demanding a separate High Court for the new State. Blaming the Modi government for the delay in division of the High Court, they asserted that protests would continue until the demand was met. They shouted slogans denouncing moves aimed at scuttling the process of High Court
bifurcation.
Speaking to media persons, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha alleged that Modi government was instrumental for stalling the division of High Court in Hyderabad. “Centre Government is a big hurdle in the bifurcation of High Court. We want separate High Court for Telangana and we will continue our protest in Parliament till we get High Court for Telangana,” said Kavitha.
