A total of one thousand 314 Indians were airlifted yesterday by seven special civilian flights from Ukraine’s neighbouring countries under ‘Operation Ganga’. The Civil Aviation Ministry said that with this, more than 17 thousand four hundred Indians have been brought back since the special flights began on the 22nd of February.
The number of Indians airlifted by 73 special civilian flights amount to 15
thousand 206. One C-17 IAF flight landed in Delhi last evening with 201 Indians on board, including Harjot Singh who sustained bullet injuries in Kyiv. Indian Air Force had earlier flown 10 sorties to bring back 2056 passengers under Operation Ganga.
Today, two special Civilian flights are expected to operate from Suceava, bringing in more than 400 Indians back home.
