V Prez Jagdeep Dhankhar addresses members of Indian community in UK

London: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that Indian democracy is functioning at a level which is unmatched anywhere in the world. Addressing the members of the Indian community in the United Kingdom, Mr. Dhankhar said, in this flourishing, blossoming democracy, the focal point is the empowerment of ordinary man.

In his address, the Vice President stressed that the country’s institutions are independent. He said, the



Election Commission of India can be a guiding factor, a lighthouse, for the rest of the world on how to conduct elections fairly, efficiently, and in the shortest time. 

He said, the moment of glory for India has come and this glory is being reflected by ground reality. He said, the world is recognising it. He said, a firm foundation has been laid in view of the vision for India in 2047.
