Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, yesterday evening in the third leg of his visit to three European countries. Mr Naidu will hold one-on-one and delegation level talks with the President of Romania's Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu today and witness signing of MOUs.
Vice President will also hold delegation level talks with Romanian President Klaus Werner Lohannis. Mr Naidu will also hold talks with Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and the President of Chamber of Deputies Nicolae-Livi Dragnea.
Vice
President will also visit the Parliament of Romania and to address the members of Senate. He will also interact with the India-Romania Business Forum Meeting. On the last day of his visit, Mr. Naidu will address the Indian community in Romania.
Vice President is visiting this country at a time when the two countries are completing 70 years of establishment of their diplomatic relations. This visit is an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral economic, commercial and political relation between two countries.
