Vice President Venkaiah Naidu arrives in Peru

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu today arrived in Peru on the third leg of his three-nation visit to Central America. 

During his visit to Peru, he will be meeting with the top leaders of the country and discuss various issues of mutual interest.Peru is emerging as an important partner of India in Latin America and the Caribbean region.

"During Vice President's visit to Peru he will meet the President of Peru and will hold talks with the Vice President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. 

Both the counties will review the entire spectrum of



bilateral relations including Trade and Commerce, Investments, Information Technology, Capacity building, Traditional medicines, Space, Defence, Culture and others. 

The discussions will also cover multilateral issues. The Vice President will also visit the Congress of Peru and will meet with President of the Congress and members of the India -Peru Parliamentary Friendship League. 

Mr. Naidu will also interact with Indian Diaspora and visit ancient archaeological sites, museum and other historic places in and around Lima.
