V.Narayanasamy to be sworn in as Puducherry CM today

Former Union Minister V Narayanasamy will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Puducherry today. The swearing in ceremony will be held at the historic Gandhi Tidal at beach Road where council of ministers will also take oath. Lt. Governor Ms. Kiran Bedi, will administer the oath of office to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam is expected to be Speaker of the Assembly. Congress- DMK combine got a clear majority in the Union Territory Assembly election. According to sources, DMK will not have representation in the Government. Senior Congress leader Ghulan Nabi Azad and DMK Treasurer MK Stalin will attend today's function.
